You must be at least 18 and legally capable of accepting these terms. You may add or monitor another device only with valid consent and legal authority. You are responsible for complying with laws governing location monitoring, privacy, employment, guardianship, and device access.
2. Accounts and Family Circles
You are responsible for account credentials, invited members, circle roles, device security, and accurate information. Do not share invitation codes publicly. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use the service for stalking, coercion, surveillance without consent, harassment, unlawful discrimination, deception, abuse, reverse engineering, disruption, scraping, credential theft, or infringement. Do not bypass age, access, payment, platform, or security controls.
4. Location and alert limitations
Locations, maps, routes, Safe Place transitions, trips, battery information, check-ins, Journey Guardian sessions, notifications, and SOS events may be inaccurate, stale, delayed, duplicated, incomplete, or unavailable. Results depend on hardware, permissions, GPS, connectivity, power settings, manufacturer behavior, Google services, and user action. Always verify critical information directly.
5. Availability and payments
No paid Family Wayfinder subscription is currently offered. If paid features are introduced, the price, billing period, renewal, trial, cancellation, and refund terms will be disclosed before purchase and may also be governed by the store processing payment.
6. Intellectual property
The service, name, visual identity, software, content, and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms grant only a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service as made available.
7. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or safety outcome. You remain responsible for decisions, supervision, travel, emergency planning, device settings, consent, and lawful use. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Suspension, termination, and changes
We may restrict or end access for security, abuse, legal compliance, service changes, or violation of these terms. You may stop use and request account deletion. We may update these terms and will publish the revised version and effective date.
